This year not only marks the 120th anniversary of The London Chorus, but our first choir tour since the pandemic. We are thrilled to be taking a group of 80 singers and guests to the stunning settings of Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii between 6th-9th October.
Our Italian adventure will begin on Friday 6th October with a performance at Christ Church in Naples, otherwise known as ‘the English-speaking church’. The audience, many of whom be may be originally from the UK, will enjoy a lively programme including Rossini, Puccini, Elgar and Handel. On Saturday, the choir will visit beautiful Sorrento for an afternoon concert at the cathedral, last visited by our sister choir – Highgate Choral Society – in 2017. Sunday morning will be an opportunity for members to visit unforgettable Pompeii before returning to Naples to sing an early evening concert at the Duomo di Napoli. And no choir tour would be complete without the final night party, this year taking place at our hotel, the Palazzo Caracciolo Napoli.
