Bach’s Christmas Oratorio is a monumental festive masterpiece composed in 1734. Written as a collection of six cantatas, it recounts the Nativity story across the 12 days of Christmas. It remains a cornerstone of the choral repertoire, brilliantly mixing joyful arias with sacred poetry. We will be performing parts 1, 3, 5 & 6, and it will be sung in German.
