Choir members, along with their touring fans, enjoyed a fabulous weekend of singing and local culture in Berlin and Potsdam in early May 2026. Saturday 2 May saw the choir singing in the beautiful setting of Pauluskirche as part of the church’s regular lunchtime concert series. We spent the afternoon exploring Berlin before meeting at the Dom to hear a stunning evensong. On Sunday we travelled to Potsdam, a former royal residence of the Prussian kings with fewer than 200,000 residents but boasting an amazing 17 royal palaces and Unesco-rated parks. Another appreciative audience greeted the choir for their late afternoon concert in the wonderful St Nikolai church at the heart of Potsdam’s old town. We were delighted to give our performance as part of St Nikolai’s fundraising efforts for a new organ in Ukraine.
